At Adiyogi Gurukul Yoga School, we believe in delivering every one of our students a fulfilling and
meaningful learning experience. But we realize that unforeseen events may take place, which could
cause your plans to change. For fairness and transparency for our students and for our school as
well, we have laid out a detailed cancellation policy.
Kindly go through the information given below thoroughly before making a booking, since all offers
are made subject to availability.
1. Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Course Cancelled
Please observe the following concerning cancellations :
Cancellation 30 days or more before the course start date :
You will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable 25% deposit.
The deposit, however, can be transferred to any future course within 1 year of the original
course date.
Cancellation within 30 days of the course start date :
A 50% refund will be issued.
The remaining 50% can be applied as a credit toward any future course within 1 year.
Cancellation within 7 days of the course start or after the course begins :
Unfortunately, no refund will be issued at this stage due to administrative and accommodation
commitments.
2. Retreat Program Cancellations
Cancellation 14 days or more prior to the start of the retreat : You can cancel your booking at any point up to 14 days prior and will get a full refund less the 25% non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation 7–14 days prior to the retreat start You will be refunded 50% of the entire booking fee.
Cancellation less than 7 days before the retreat : No refund. The booking can be transferred to another retreat of the same value within 12 months of the initial booking date.
3. Course / Postponement Transfer
We recognize that occasions can arise where changes are unavoidable. In the event that you are required to shift your reservation for a course or retreat, it is possible to do this free of charge within 1 year of the original commencement date.
Only the disparity in course/retreat fee (where applicable) will need to be borne by the student.
All such transfers depend upon availability and involve advance clearance with Adiyogi Gurukul Yoga School.
4. Cancellation by Adiyogi Gurukul
At Adiyogi Gurukul, we strive to uphold every scheduled course and retreat. However, in the rare case that we are required to cancel a program for any reason, the following policy applies:
Students will be able to claim a 100% refund, which includes the deposit.
Alternatively, you can have your entire payment transferred to any other course or retreat of your choice.
- Kindly note: Adiyogi Gurukul does not undertake any external expenditure like transportation, flight tickets, or accommodation paid for by the student independently.
5. Medical/Emergency Cancellations
We understand that personal, medical, or family emergencies can arise unexpectedly. In such situations:
Students are requested to inform us as soon as possible.
Refunds or transfers may be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided valid documentation is submitted to support the request.
6. Force Majeure
At Adiyogi Gurukul, we are committed to delivering all courses and retreats as planned. However, in cases of force majeure events—such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond our control—modifications to the program may be unavoidable.
In such rare instances:
Adiyogi Gurukul cannot be held responsible for any changes, postponements, or cancellations caused by these events.
Refund or transfer options will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature and impact of the situation.
7. Refund Process
Refunds for all deductions can be issued inside 14 corporation days after notification of cancellation.
Students are accountable for any exchange or transaction prices.
